White Dust From Air Vents

We just moved into a new home and the air vents blow dust when the ac is on.

The dust can also be found in the air conditioning vents tucked up against the windshield and on the front of the passenger window trim. New home has excessive dust coming through air vents what to check. My guess is that the problem is not dust coming through the ducts but coming in from around the ductwork and pulling dust into your living spaces from the attic.
